"Happy New Year to all!  The Community Education Winter term begins with these art, music, and writing classes starting in January 2013:

  • Drawing and Painting: Oil Painting (beginning, intermediate and advanced), Watercolor (beginning and level II), Acrylic Painting, Sketching, Calligraphy, and Wood Carving.
  • Photography:  Beginning Digital Photography, Photoshop Elements 
  • Music:  ACC Community Chorus, ACC Community Orchestra (open to any level, no auditions required), and private lessons
  • Creative Writing:  Essentials of Creative Writing, Creative Writing II, Creative Non-Fiction, Publishing Your Writing, Beyond the Writer’s Closet

Just in from  B'nai Havurah Colorado Reconstructionist Federation Denver, CO…  OY!Improv helps teens discover their inner creativity in a unique, interactive two-hour workshop. Join in the experiences of improv (improvisational theater) and creative dramatics techniques, games, and exercises blending spontaneity with Jewish spice. Explore and interpret our Jewish spirit in a fun, compelling, and engaging session, based on improvisational scenarios. OY!Improv is directed and produced by Cherie Karo Schwartz and Pam Roth O'Mara. Cherie Karo Schwartz is a storyteller, author and teacher (BA in Literature and an MA in Developmental Theatre).
