2013 Historic Elitch Gardens Christmas Festival & Marketplace

Historic Elitch Gardens Christmas Festival & Marketplace... cordially invites   local artisans, crafters, and providers of unique, boutique products as well as fresh Christmas wreaths, garland and poinsettias. The Festival will feature free fun, family-friendly activities including a free visit with Santa where he will be giving out a small toy at no cost to each child, a reading of the Night Before Christmas by Denver Auditor Dennis Gallagher, a free tour of a working Denver Fire Truck Christmas Carolers, and maybe even a visit from Santa's Reindeer. 2014 Creative Industries Summit call for session proposals… Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) has opened online session proposals for the 3rd annual Creative Industries Summit, to be held May 1-2, 2014 in Salida. What they're seeking:  Creative Industries Summit Conference attendees include creative entrepreneurs, emerging creatives, municipal and nonprofit cultural workers, and community leaders. The Summit planning committee invites proposals that explore trends and developments in the creative industries, share best practices and innovative solutions, and utilize hands-on examples and case studies as a teaching tool. Cherry Creek Chorale & Arapahoe Philharmonic Together Fri 11/8

You know it's fall when the Cherry Creek Chorage and Arapahoe Philharmonic begin their new seasons. Well, how about this - they're performing together. That's right.... The Cherry Creek Chorale begins its 34th season, "a Musical Palette", by collaborating with the Arapahoe Philharmonic. Under the direction of Music Director, Devin Patrick Hughes, the two groups will perform Carl Orff's cantata, Carmina Burana, one of the most popular choral works in the classical repertoire.  Soloists include Cherry Creek Chorale Artistic Director and tenor Brian Patrick Leatherman, baritone Steve Taylor, and soprano Teresa Castillo. The single performance is at 7:30 p.m. on November 8, 2013 at Mission Hills Church, 620 South Park Drive, Littleton, CO 80120. For tickets, please visit www.arapahoe-phil.org or call 303-781-1892.
