Elizabeth CO is having ElizaBash Street Festival in conjunction with the Elizabeth Stampede Parade. The parade goes through town and the street festival is along the parade route featuring booths with antiques, art, crafts, gifts, food, handmades, services, and unusual products. They would love for you to participate! They plan to have a band, food and many activities to attract all ages. Parade: begins at 10:00a ending  near the street fair. SoHa Literary Reporter Mollie Rue tells us about a literary event produced by the Conundrum Press. “Join us for a celebration of the art of poetry, music, coffee, and tacos! Denver's Poet Laureate of yore [and current SoHa Poet], Chris Ransick , and award-winning authors Eleanor Swanson and Robert King will read from their (and each other's) new books and let us in on their conversation about life, the universe, and everything. As if hanging out with three of the best writers in the American west isn't enough to ditch any prior plans, here are a few more reasons: How about a rare opportunity to taste the boutique coffee from the Ninety-Plus Coffee Gesha Estates in Panama and Ethiopia? Also, David Rynhart and Kris Drickey of the popular musical group Chimney Choir will provide live music. This promises to be the biggest and best Art in the Park yet. Making organizations accessible to people with disabilities and the rapidly growing number of older adults is key to expanding audiences. A strong leader in this effort is Beth Bienvenu, the director of the National Endowment for the Art’s (NEA) Office of Accessibility. Bienvenu’s lunchtime presentation will offer strategies for implementing policies that make the arts accessible to people of all abilities.
