From booking agent Mark Sundermeier... Hello Friends,  10 years ago while running The Soiled Dove, some friends and myself started "The Acoustic Circus" series. It ran for a year and we put out a 2 disc compilation of songs with all styles of Denver acts... Singer/ Songwriters, Indie, Rock, Metal, Country, Blues, Jazz, Classical and World Music acts...all playing in a broken down, "Acoustic" format. 10 years later, after having revived the "A.C." shows here at The Toad in Dec. of 2012...w/ Kyle Zender and myself (Mark S.) have recorded over 35 artists for to BRAND NEW volumes of the disc..."Vol. II" and "Vol. III", again featuring some of Denver's best!!! !!! Colorado Creative Industries Chooses 5 New Creative Districts

Just in from Colorado Creative Industries… Colorado Creative Industries (CCI), a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, and the Boettcher Foundation are pleased to announce the certification of five new creative districts through the Colorado Creative Districts Program: Pueblo Creative Corridor, Corazon de Trinidad, North Fork Valley Creative District, Ridgway Creative District and Telluride Creative District. Initiated in 2011 with the signing of House Bill 11-1031, the Colorado Creative District's program first certified Denver's Arts District on Santa Fe and Downtown Salida, with an additional 13 districts granted prospective and emerging status. About Colorado's new creative districts: Pueblo Creative Corridor - 225 artists participate in the Pueblo Creative District whose activities attract 82,570 participants annually. The Nacho Men, a RidgeGate Walk Concert, presented by South Suburban Parks and Recreation. Walk, bring a lunch picnic and enjoy the summer sounds of four great Metro bands! The Nacho Men combine live dance music, costume changes, choreography and humor for a show that is as much fun to watch as it is to dance to. Jump up and dance or sit back and enjoy the music! Bring your blankets/lawn chairs, kites and lunch to listen to a great show; exercise on the walking path around the concert area. The Taste of Lone Tree gets better every year…. Lone Tree’s Chamber of Commerce tell us, “The 6th annual event taking place Saturday, August 10th 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday, August 11, 12 pm – 5 pm features a variety of restaurants, dazzling displays of art and showcase our sponsor businesses throughout both days. You won’t want to miss Lone Tree’s only 2 day food and art festival showcasing a variety of culinary delights from Lone Tree area restaurants, and showcasing art from area fine artists. Live Entertainment provided and premier micro brewery tastings throughout both days.
