OY!Improv Spontaneous Creativity for Teens April 14

Just in from B'nai Havurah Colorado Reconstructionist Federation Denver, CO… OY!Improv helps teens discover their inner creativity in a unique, interactive two-hour workshop. Join in the experiences of improv (improvisational theater) and creative dramatics techniques, games, and exercises blending spontaneity with Jewish spice. Explore and interpret our Jewish spirit in a fun, compelling, and engaging session, based on improvisational scenarios. OY!Improv is directed and produced by Cherie Karo Schwartz and Pam Roth O'Mara.

Cherie Karo Schwartz is a storyteller, author and teacher (BA in Literature and an MA in Developmental Theatre). Using storytelling and improvisation in her performances, workshops, and residencies, she has shared stories and creativity with thousands of people of all ages for four decades across the USA and abroad, including Israel, Canada, and Turkey, working in Jewish and other sacred and  secular settings. She is the author of three books (including Circle Spinning), four recordings, and has been with B'nai Havurah for 32 years.

Pam Roth O’Mara, an instructor, performer, author, director, producer, and nice Jewish girl from Long Island, earned an Honors BA in Humanities from Hofstra University and studied at the American Repertory Theater Program at Harvard University.
