FREE Taste of Improv Workshop: Mon, 8/27/2012

On Monday, August 27, 2012 at 1:00 – 2:30pm there's a FREE, yes, count 'em, FREE Introduction to Improv  Acting Workshop led by Pam O’Mara, Author of Suggestion Please – Denver’s Secret Improv Culture. Here's the description: "Jump in with both feet and give improvisational acting a whirl. This one session (1 ½ hour) workshop gives you a taste of what improv acting is all about. You’ll learn a few character development skills and put them together in short 2- and 3-person scenes. Nothing to lose, and everything to gain! And, if you like it you can enroll in any or all of the 4-week improv workshops offered this Fall at the Curtis Arts & Humanities Center."

What people are saying: "I am excited to hear that Pam O'Mara will be teaching a 4 week morning improv workshop at the Curtis Arts & Humanities Center. I have taken Pam's Improv class at Arapahoe Community College for two years and have found it exciting and refreshing. Pam's approach to teaching the art has me hooked on doing improvisational theatre."
