From the Southern Suburb Writers Workshop… Do you like writing? Do you have aspirations of getting published if only you could get that novel finished? Do you want feedback and helpful critiques on your story? Well this is the group for you! Join a dedicated group of writers every other Saturday at Panera Bread to read and workshop that fat stack of papers you call your baby!
When: Sat, April 6, 2013 @ 2:00p - 4:00p | originally scheduled for Sat, Mar 30
Where: Panera - 9233 Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree, CO | We'll be in the Panera atrium. I'll have a Meetup sign.
Good to Know: We'll be workshopping pieces by Sharon and Ron. Please bring with you a pen and a print out of the writing exercise below to read to the group.
Writing Exercise: Write a scene in 1,000 words or less for a story that takes place at Easter Brunch at the dinner table or in the kitchen during preparations for the meal with two characters who are are angry at each other but not addressing their conflict directly. Perhaps a long lost relative you'd prefer stay lost! ;-)
