Fire Truck Muster Underway in Littleton

Today is the 26th Annual Fire Truck Muster in Littleton . At ACC, fire truck enthusiasts of all ages can line up for a fire truck ride; climb in and on vintage and state-of-the-art fire apparatus; observe fire safety demonstrations; and get drenched in traditional firefighter games, including the bucket brigade and barrel blast.  Visitors can shop for firefighting souvenirs and memorabilia provided by the Firefighters Museum. Junior firefighters are invited to don heavy bunker gear worn by real firefighters, or crawl through a fire safety obstacle course set up by the Denver Firefighters Museum.  For a change of pace, they can race Soap Box cars driven in the SERTOMA Mile High Soap Box Derby (including specially-designed cars for youngsters 8 to 17 with special needs). The new, yet-to-be named organization will focus on goals including but not limited to recognition of the SoHa Region as a major destination for arts and culture in Colorado; recognition, marketing, and education of SoHa artists and performers, and of artists and performers visiting SoHa; audience expansion in SoHa; opening lines of communication across the arts to enhance artistic opportunities, B2A/A2B interaction (Business-to-Arts/Arts-to-Business), A2A interaction (Arts-to-Arts), and A2E/E2A interaction (Arts-to-Education/Education-to-Arts); and enhancing educational opportunities for new and experienced artists and performers at all levels. Addition to This Weekend in SoHa :: 4/2 & 4/3

Calling all model railroad enthusiasts: view an amazing O-Gauge Lionel Train exhibit, running two main lines and an additional two tracks for staging, complete with scenery and weathered buildings. The featured trains are manufactured by Lionel Trains, dating from the 1930's to the present time. When: Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3 from 10 AM until 4 PM Where:  The Inn at Hudson Gardens, 6115 South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton. Directions: 1/2 mile S of Bowles Ave; 3 miles N of C-470; on west side of Santa Fe Drive & across the street from Arapahoe Community College.
