Pam Roth O'Mara
SoHa Happenings in Colorado
(www.sohappens.com) was created to ensure that SoHa artists, performers, and their creations both indoors and outdoors are easily found by audiences. And, audiences can find these wonderful creations. It's the brainchild of Pam Roth O'Mara, an author, instructor, park interpreter, performer, and visual artist who started SoHa Happenings because she was seeking information about events and activities south of Hampden, South Metro Denver. The information wasn’t easy to find, so she started gathering the information, and realized that other people were also seeking the same type of information.
What is SoHa? Glad you asked. Encompassing parts of Arapahoe, Douglas, and Jefferson counties, nineteen communities, and bordered by Hampden Ave (north), and the towns of Castle Rock (south), Centennial (east), Ken Caryl and Roxborough (west), SoHa is a culture, arts, and nature region. Thus SoHa Can! An international travel destination!
How does SoHa Happenings select content? SoHa artists performing and exhibiting anywhere are sought out, interviewed, and written about. All exhibits, events, and performances in SoHa are mentioned - at least that's the goal. So, for example, an artist living in SoHa and performing outside the region, is recognized in the SoHa Happenings in Colorado. Artists and performers living outside the region and performing or exhibiting in SoHa are also recognized. Get it? Good. Educators receive the same recognition.
SoHa Happenings in Colorado  is supported entirely by partners and patrons who receive extensive promotional value, goodwill, and thanks. Venues are asked to contribute as partners. Find out about being a partner:partner@sohappens.com.
