Interview with Alex Grant, SoHa Musician

SoHa Happenings Contributing Editor Lisa Hardman recently attended a performance by SoHa Musician Alex Grant at the Mercury Café, and spoke with him a few days later.  Here’s what she learned… Nine years ago, Alex Grant and his wife, Suzi, were living in Phoenix, AZ when they decided they needed a change. “I really thought she’d never want to leave,” Alex said. “But we were sitting in the backyard one day and we just kind of said, ‘Let’s go to Colorado!’ So we flew up here for four days and drove all over the state, fell in love with it and came back, put our house on the market and neither one of us had jobs. We just figured we’d make it happen.”
