The Artists...
Combining his education in painting and drawing with skill in Photoshop, Illustrator, Poser, and Painter, Frank Foster has worked in a variety of styles and media, with book covers the focus of his work during the last eight years. Frank enjoys the multiple challenges and decisions involved in creating a piece that reflects the essence of his message.
Dustin (Dusty) Hagerty, a professional photographer, has recorded and presents his extensive travels through his viewpoint of scenery, animals, people, buildings, and art.
Darlene Kuhne is a colorist, abstract expressionist painter, who composes her paintings with design and composition in mind. She carves lines and shapes into the texture, then uses the play of color and directional lines to give her paintings depth and strength. The viewer’s eye follows the path of the lines, shapes and colors to take a journey around the painting.
Good to Know: South Suburban’s Public Art Committee encourages Colorado artists to submit an application to temporarily display their artwork at various South Suburban recreation facilities.
