Future of the Lone Tree Library | Meeting Series
Community Input Sought: Future of the Lone Tree Library… The City of Lone Tree is hosting 5 (count ‘em, five) community meetings in different Lone Tree locations to engage residents about the future use of the current Lone Tree Library building.
What’s This About? Three new libraries are to be built in Douglas County, one each in RidgeGate (Lone Tree), Parker, and Castle Pines. While the Douglas County Library System has made the decision to build a new Lone Tree Library in RidgeGate, it has yet to decide about the future use of the current library building. The City of Lone Tree wants the current library building to remain a community resource and is evaluating options to purchase the building. At these 5 community meetings, residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the library’s decision and provide feedback regarding the future use of the current library building.
