Opportunities in Journalism: A Panel and Free Lunch, Thursday, Nov 7 @ 11:30-1 pm in M4140. Hosted by ACC’s Contemporary Journalism program, the panel features experienced journalists and editors from the world of journalism. 

Flash fiction writer and Novelist Nancy Stohlman invites you to participate in 2013 FLASH-NANO! Writing a book in a month is a worthy and noble quest. But how about writing 30 flash fiction stories in 30 days??? This November 2013, in conjunction with Nanowrimo/National Novel Writing Month, Nancy will again be challenging flash fiction writers to participate in her own little invention:  FLASHNANO: 30 Stories in 30 Days. She’ll post a flash fiction prompt at www.nancystohlman.com every day from Nov 1 - 30.

Join in the experiences of improv (improvisational theater) and creative dramatics techniques, games, and exercises blending spontaneity with Jewish spice. Explore and interpret our Jewish spirit in a fun, compelling, and engaging session, based on improvisational scenarios. OY!Improv is directed and produced by Cherie Karo Schwartz and Pam Roth O'Mara.
